Free time Sketch...

Here is an interior sketch inspired by my friend's room. It was really a fun exercise to use his room as a reference to design space for my character.

   

Kareri Lake trek...

Whenever I get some time off from my daily routine I try run away from the comfort of the city and spend some time in the mountains. I had a day off on last weekend because of Holi and I found myself  packing my rucksack for Indrahar pass trek in Himachal Pradesh. Unfortunately Indrahar Pass trek was closed because of the heavy snowfall. Unwilling to give up just yet and go home without trekking, we decided to attempt Kareri Lake trek and it turned out to be a right decision. We could not complete this trek because of the heavy snowfall but it was an amazing and refreshing experience.

Last week I had an opportunity to visit Udaipur, Rajasthan. It's a beautiful city with a lot of amazing places and architecture with the sense of culture. Here are the sketches inspired by a photograph I took at the city palace, Udaipur.

Last month, I did a little talk about Composition and its importance in story telling at Pencillati Studio's Art Meet-up. This session was all about the Fundamental principles of composition, how they are used for storytelling and how to study artworks created by great artists to improve our knowledge of pictorial composition. It was really an amazing experience to share what I have learnt through my studies and from my teachers with fellow artist.
