Random frames...

Today's theme was 'tanks' and  I decided to play around with some random frames this time :)

More studies...

A few more composition studies using just 2 values. Theme for these was 'chair'. It was a challenge to make a simple chair interesting using just two values. I'm still struggling to make a clear statement and a sense of mood through these studies. I'm doing these studies as a warm up with my very talented friend Ankush Cholia. Check him out :)

Some 3 value composition studies for today :)

Whenever I do these studies I give myself a subject and then try to come up with different compositions conveying different mood in each one.I try to vary my values, camera angle, horizon line, lighting and vegetation in each compositions to hit different emotions.

For these studies, my subject was Konkani house.

Monsoon...

Rainy season has begun in India and Konkan is definitely one of my favourite place to visit in every monsoon. Here is the sketch of a traditional Konkani house to give you an idea of what it's like to be in konkan during the monsoon.
