Studying oranges...

Little still life study for today...
Also sharing my first attempt. I wasn't happy with it at the time so I abandoned it and started over again. Looking back at it, there is something about it that feels really good :)

Study in watercolour and gouache....

Little watercolour study to end the day...
Colours took a bit too long to dry due to rain and humidity. It was fun experience to paint everything wet on wet to get some interesting edges that I don't usually get.

Mermay challenge sketch...

Here is my take on mermay challenge this year. Will try to do some more before month end if possible.
My good friend Ankush Cholia gave a really helpful feedback on my initial sketch. It is crazy how very subtle changes can helpful describe the character personality in a better way.
Make sure to check out his Instagram  profile, you won't be disappointed.

Water colour and gouache studies...

Hey Guys! Last month, I did some studies in watercolour and gouache on a daily basis just to make it a habit to study from life and to get better in traditional medium. Here are some still life studies from last month. Will share a few more very soon smiley

Study in watercolour and gouache...

I have started doing some studies in watercolour and gouache. I'm still getting used to this medium but it is fun to get back to traditional medium. I will be doing these studies on regular basis so get ready for more posts with traditional studies.
